	© Meghan Sepe	Born and raised in NY, Chris lived a brief stint in California when he was younger. His family was invited on a friend’s boat in New York and the rest, they say, is history! Chris started with North Sails in 2000 after working with fellow North Salesman Steve Benjamin at Banks Sails in Oyster Bay, NY . Chris specializes in the J/109, Etchells, Melges 24, as well as IRC, PHRF, and classic yachts.   His sailing experience includes years of keelboat racing and first place finishes at Block Island Race Week, Around Long Island Race, a number of NOOD Regattas, the Vineyard Race and Key West Race Week.    In his spare time, Chris enjoys time with his family, martial arts, mountain biking and fishing with the boys. chrisb@sales.northsails.com mobile: 631-960-6311 skype: chris.buncke

Tom Castiglione

Tom Castiglione is originally from Port Jefferson on Long Island, NY. He learned to sail with his uncle on Candlewood lake in CT, and took walking the docks of Port Jefferson as a teenager on race days.

Tom began working for North in 2000 and he currently specializes in the Swan 42 class. In past years he focused on Farr 395s, IMS 40s and J44s.

Tom has competed avidly in the J44 class, winning the North American Championships multiple times. He has also won two Farr 395 North Americans, top 3 at Melges 24 Nationals, and competed in 10 Newport to Bermuda Races.

While sailing takes up most weekends, Tom enjoys skiing in the winter when he has time. He has recently taken up road cycling and is planning a couple of treks in 2013.
