Jack Slattery began sailing and racing at age eight with his family in their yacht club sailing program, Hull Yacht Club in Massachusetts.

Jack has worked at North Sails for 20 years, advising clients with boats of all sizes, specializing in the 40' -70' range. Recently, he has spent a good deal of time in the Swan 42 Class, winning the Swan 42 North Americans as tactician on Apparition.

An avid collegiate sailor, Jack was a two-time college All-American while sailing at Boston University (1980, 1981), he also won A-division at Fleet Race Nationals and claimed 1st place with his team at the Team Racing Nationals, both in 1980. Jack is also a Mallory Cup Champion, has won over 25 National Championships in both dinghy and offshore one design, and has six Newport Bermuda Race wins.

When he’s not sailing, Jack enjoys spending time with his wife and son in the mountains skiing and hiking, “outdoor sports in the mountains compliment competitive sailing nicely” he says.

Brad White

Brad White grew up sailing in Massachusetts and is a graduate of Boston University. Brad was named MVP and Collegiate All-American honorable mention (first ever crew) and is a national, regional and New England champion in the International 110 class.

Brad was crew onboard an IOD world champion team has been an Interclub Frostbite Dinghy champion six times. He has participated in the Bermuda Race 8 times and has also raced in the Kenwood Cup, Block Island Race Week and Halifax Race.

Brad has 30+ years sailmaking experience, and started with North Sails in 1993.
