A former Naval officer, Bob Buckland earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering at Old Dominion University, and his Masters at UCLA.
Having previously completed Olympic campaigns in both the Star and Soling classes, Bob currently competes in the local Etchells and PHRF classes.
Bob has been with North Sails since 1993. Working out of our Beaufort, NC loft, he specializes in quick turn-around repairs for customers entering and exiting the Intra-Coastal Waterway. Bob also has reputable skills in rig tuning and modifications, as well as interior and exterior canvas work.
