Angus Brackett

 Angus Brackett grew up on Orcas Island in the JanJuans Islands, here he started racing and cruising with family and friends on Lasers, Solings and others, beginning at eight years old through the Orcas Island Yacht Club, and later through the Seattle Yacht Club Program. Angus raced throughout high school and into college, where he represented Western Washington University in two national championships.

In October 2004, while attending University, Angus began working part time for North Sails in Seattle as a sailmaker. After graduating he began working full time as a service specialist and later transitioned into sales. Angus owns a 505 which he currently sails competitively, as well as a new Tasar he races with his wife. He is active in the 6M fleet and enjoys both inshore and offshore racing with clients aboard PHRF and one design boats.

2004 Overall Vic-Maui winner 2004 as Watch Captain and Tactician on Tranquility
2004 1st place at US Soling Champs
2001 2nd place at US Soling Champs
2008 15th place at 505 North Americans
2009 24th place at 505 Pre-Worlds
    
When he is not racing, Angus takes advantage of the outdoors in other ways, whether backpacking, snow skiing, fishing, cruising the San Juan's, and/or training for triathlons.

Jack Christiansen

 Jack learned to sail on his family’s Thistle, out of the Willamette Sailing Club in Portland, OR. Having previously run his own private loft, he sold to North Sails in 1995 after being approached by Robbie Haines to help take care of sailors in Washington, Alaska, Idaho & Montana.  
The Pacific Northwest offers diverse sailing opportunities, and Jack specializes in helping PHRF boat owners and their crews get more out of their boats & sails.  He currently competes in the J/24 and Thistle fleet in Seattle. In the past he has focused on the J/109, J/35, Thunderbird, J/24, and Swan Maxi class. Jack’s commitment to fulfilling customer needs and a strong background in sail design and production has enabled many of his clients to achieve their own personal goals.

Jack dedicates much of his time to helping his clients in the best way possible. In his spare time he enjoys fly fishing “for any type of fish in fresh or salt water, or just planning possible outings!  Also, I try to grow tomatoes in the challenging northwest summers.”

Jeff Madrigali
 
Jeff Madrigali started sailing as part of the junior sailing program at the San Francisco Yacht Club when I was 8 years old. He took to it instantly and has been racing boats actively ever since.
 
In 1987 Jeff began working at the North Sails in San Francisco, he continued there until 2001 when he move to the Seattle loft. He is active in the Etchells class and recently became involved in sailing Melges 24s. Jeff also won last year’s Big Boat Series in SF on the J-125 “Double Trouble”.
