The main sail from my F-82R is need of repair work; stitching on a couple of batten pockets is coming loose and there appears to be a couple of thin spots on the sail near the Luff. Question - do you provide free repair estimates? I assume I would need to bring the sail in for your review.

Hello Mike, Yes ,we will be happy to give you a free estimate , and advice . Call 1 800 SAIL 123 Ext 877. You will be talking with your closest North Sails Loft As a standard procedure in all our Sail Care evaluations we thoroughly inspect your sail to note not only what you may be aware off , but also to make sure there are no other potential problems with your sail. On our home page there is informatiion about our Sail inspection. Seasonal check ups will help to prevent small wear and tear turning into larger repair, and lost time out on the water.
A stitch in time saves nine!

Mark has been building, repairing and designing sails for 36 years, half of them with North. He has applied his knowledge to a successful America’s Cup defense and a winning Volvo campaign as well as a wide variety of boats from small day sailors to Maxis with a special fondness for the 70-foot Sleds of the West Coast. James Quinby, Sail Care Expert
James Quinby learned how to sail on his father's knee in their handmade Thistle with Egyptian cotton sails. After retiring from the Fire Service in 1994, James started working for North Sails at the 3DL® finishing site in Alameda, CA and was part of the team who opened the Minden, NV facility in the mid 1990s. Currently the manager at North Sails in Annapolis, MD, Will Keyworth is a veteran sailmaker who has worked for North Sails for over 30 years. Will learned to sail at West River Sailing Club and was one of the youngest Chesapeake 20 racers to win regattas in his teens. He actively sails with clients in regattas up and down the East Coast and is North's J/105 Class Sail Development (CSD) leader.
