Marstrom 32

North Sails Sweden has been involved in the M-32 from the early start, together with our top designers we have been closely developing the sail plan, sailchart and crossovers with North's Flow - Membrane™ design analysis software.

Anders Lewander is the Marstrom 32 Class Leader. Anders' sailing knowledge & experience has come from dinghy, multihull and monohull yacht racing. Working as a professional sailor for various sailing teams and the Swedish National Sailing Team, Anders is also a sailmaker and part owner of the North Sails loft in Sweden.

His multihull experience includes winning the Archipelago Raid in F18s and racing Cheyenne-Playstation around the world. Anders often is asked to speak publicly about modern sailmaking and gives lectures, marketing, support and technical advice.

Anders has skippered national team boats and has been a skipper and project manager in the Australian 18ft Skiff Grand Prix class. During this time, Anders was also responsible for sail development for the new Olympic Class 49er and he was skipper on Ericsson 3 during the 2008-09 Volvo Ocean Race.
