The MC has a really wide range and is the perfect sail for 10 to 16 knots. This is the sail you will use most. It is easy to create power in the lighter 11 knots and it can easily get de-powered in the upper 15 to 16 knots.

These maximum-range heavy headsails are designed to go right up to the #4 without excessive backwind and yet are powerful enough to carry down to 15 knots if needed.
