Contender Sails

Our Contender mains are developments in conjunction with North Sails One Design in the UK.  We have shortened the leech a bit to provide more clearance under the boom, and also to move the girth measurement points up in the sail which effectively makes the sail a bit larger in the top half.  Our recommended Dacron sail uses two different weights of fabric to make for a smooth and adjustable sail.  The leech battens are permanently sewn in, and the sail includes a window, telltales, insignia, sail numbers and a roll bag.  This sail won a few races at the 2008 World's in Kingston and is a very quick and easy to use sail.  Call us with any questions!
