Milford, CT (July 2, 2009) - North Sails has opened a new office inside Sound Boatworks in Westbrook, CT. Located just off Route 1 in Westbrook (between Clinton and Old Lyme) this new location will support North’s Milford, CT flagship sales and sail care facility by allowing customers in the Southeastern part of Connecticut to order, drop-off and pick-up sails at this location.
North’s Westbrook office will be managed by Steve Frazier, who has worked at North Sails Direct for the past two years since graduating Suma Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Finance. Steve grew up in Toledo, OH where he learned to sail dinghies on the Great Lakes before he moved into PHRF and IRC racing. He has sailed in numerous National and North American championships and enjoys kite surfing in his free time.
“We believe with Steve’s talent and expertise and a new convenient location, we can reach out to more clients in Southern Connecticut,” said Steve Benjamin who is based in Milford, CT and who will work with Frazier periodically. “We have been wanting to expand our presence on Long Island Sound and this is an ideal location to set-up a new office. Steve has incredible customer service skills and will do a fantastic job consulting and helping new and existing customers, so this will definitely be a win-win for everyone.”
